To start in Daycare at Waggin’ Tails Junction all dogs must:

-be current on all four required vaccinations (Rabies, Distemper, Bordetella, & Canine Influenza)

-be spayed/neutered if over 6 months old (call about giant breeds)

-must weigh over 15 pounds

-pass an evaluation (all day $40) call 703-361-7550

Once an evaluation is passed, the dog is on a 60 day probation period where behavior and habits are heavily monitored for changes.

We have an indoor room that is 72’ by 42’ with rubber cushioned floor, and an outside yard for potty breaks.

Water is kept available and fresh through the day.  Crated nap time is from 12:00 pm-1:00 pm daily.

Our daycare opens at 6:30 am for crated drop off and pick up by 6:00pm Monday thru Friday.

Our staff members are available from 7:00am until 12 noon, and from 1:00pm until 6:00pm.

Every day all crates, buckets, toys, equipment, and floor are disinfected.

The dogs are supervised all day and can play in one group or two.  Safety is our main priority.  We constantly evaluate all dogs and behaviors for any changes.  We expect respect from each dog and we give it in return.

Manners are important when they are in a group that ranges from 20-60 dogs, to keep mental and physical activity stable.  We must be consistent with our expectations of their behaviors.  When the dogs are getting rowdy, they usually need direction to play with each other, practice games, play fetch, or do tricks.  We use negative noise, water spray, distraction, redirection, and positive reinforcement throughout the day for pack control.

Again, the safety of our staff and dogs are our first priority.  Our staff has decades of combined experience in dog ownership and training.  We are always willing to work with our clients on specific problems or issues and keep honest lines of communication open to aid in a better family member at home.

Please call our office to make an appointment for an evaluation once you have all the required vaccinations. 703-361-7550

Our current daily rate without a pass is $30 per day.

We have different pass schedules for different budgets:

$300 = 15 visits at $20
$220 = 10 visits at $22
$125 = 5 visits at $25.
(The second dog is half price.)
Daycare while boarding is ½ the normal pass/daily rate.

Daycare will be closed on the following Holidays:
